All that God did with and through Adam is organically, relationally, historically, physically and spiritually joined to all that God did with and through Noah. All that God did with and through Noah is organically, relationally, historically, physically and spiritually joined to all that God did with and through Abraham. All that God did with Abraham is organically, relationally, historically, physically and spiritually joined to all that God did with and through Moses. All that God did with and through Moses is organically, relationally, historically, physically and spiritually joined to all that God did with and through King David. All that God did with and through King David is organically, relationally, historically, physically and spiritually joined to all that God did, is doing and will do with and through Jesus. This is, among other things, what Jesus meant when he said that he came not to abolish the Law and the Prophets but to fulfill them (Matt. 5:17-20) and that Moses wrote of him (John 5:39-47). We do not need to invent and impose on the Bible a Platonic theological grid that plays the physical creation off against spiritual categories and content. From Genesis 1 to Revelation 22 Jesus is revealed. It is profoundly simple, and simply profound.
